More than 840,000 have been displaced this year by ongoing conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

Hospitals in Goma, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo have been overwhelmed by an influx of wounded troops and civilians since the recent surge in violence between the rebels and government forces. Medical facilities are treating injuries, rapes and health issues as a result of unsanitary conditions in temporary camps.
